Female Futures

Hockey Saskatchewan is once again offering the Sask First Female Futures Program as an opportunity for U13 aged athletes to experience a province-wide camp and tournament that promotes development to those looking to play Team Saskatchewan or are intersteded in pursuing hockey at the USports/College level.

The Female Sask First Futures will be broken into two (2) separate weekends. The first weekend will be a 'SKILLS WEEKEND' plus games, where the players will work through repetitions in various techniques - shooting, puck handling, skating and checking followed by three (3) - 45 minute games.

The 2nd and final weekend will be 'TOURNAMENT WEEKEND, where players will participate in a four (4) game round robin style, similiar to the format used at Sask First Female U16 and U18.

We expect participants to attend both the 'SKILLS WEEKEND' and 'TOURNAMENT WEEKEND' as players will be evaluated and be given specific feedback for skills to work on.
